Guest Services Representative and Ticket Cashier
The Guest Services position is a full-time and or part-time seasonal position working days, evenings, weekends and holidays during our Season, that reports to the Guest Services Supervisor. The Guest Services position needs to have the physical ability to stand for extended periods of time, and present a neat and friendly appearance, wearing the uniform provided at all times. Main responsibilities include answering the phones, interacting and selling products to guests. The Guest Services position will require knowledge of products and services available at Hidden Valley Highlands. This is an hourly-paid position.
The main job responsibilities on which your performance will be evaluated include but are not limited to:
- Ensure that each customer receives outstanding service by providing a friendly environment, which includes greeting and acknowledging every customer, maintaining outstanding standards, and excellent product knowledge.
- Sell tickets and rentals to the customers.
- Book lessons during the week and non-holiday periods.
- Occasionally make members’ passes or staff ID.
- Maintain awareness of all specials, coupons and advertisements.
- Accurately and efficiently operate a point-of-sale system which includes handling cash and balancing floats.
- Answering phones, transfer calls and know whom to phone as situations or emergencies occur.
- Relay customer complaints or requests to management.
- Maintain orderly appearance of register area and keep supplies stocked.
- Adhere to all safety policies, procedures and legislation.
