First Time at Hidden Valley Highlands?
Welcome to Muskoka’s Ski Resort!
Hidden Valley Highlands is located approximately a 2 ½ hour drive north of Toronto. We are located just off Highway 60, 6 km east of downtown Huntsville, close to both Deerhurst Resort and the Hidden Valley Resort.
We suggest you arrive at least 1 hour ahead of your lesson time or expected ski/ride time to allow enough time to purchase/pick up your ticket and organize rental equipment and/or check-in for Snow School lessons.
Lift Tickets, Rentals and Lessons are sold online and it is recommended that you purchase them in advance of your visit. Walk-in Lift Tickets are available, but for Lessons and Rentals please book online, in advance to avoid disappointment.
Where can I find?
From our parking lot, you enter our Chalet on the upper level or top floor, our main office, lift ticket/ Guest Services counter and Snow School desk are located on this level. There is also an accessible washroom. When you enter the building head to your right to get your day started!
The Cafeteria and seating area is located on the second level or middle floor of the chalet. The Cafeteria staff will serve up a delicious breakfast, lunch or dinner. Hot chocolate, coffee, tea and cold drinks are also served. If you need a warm-up break or just a spot to watch the options we have lots of seating and big windows to watch from.
Head down to the snow or the lowest level of the chalet where you can find the Rental Shop and easy access to the ski racks and slopes. Forgot something at home? That’s okay because the Algonquin Outfitters Valley Shop is here to help! They have all the ski and snowboard accessories you need. Plus an excellent line of demo skis to try!
Are you a first-time skier or snowboarder?
If you are a first-time skier or snowboarder we strongly recommend that you take a lesson to ensure a safe and more enjoyable experience.
We offer Private Lessons that include a complimentary Lesson Lift Ticket for the lesson participant. During the lesson, the Lesson Lift Ticket is valid for all lifts at the discretion of the instructor. Outside of the lesson, the ticket is valid only on the Handle Tow.
The Snow School desk is located at the Guest Service counter on the upper level of the Chalet. Ask about your different options–our Snow School staff can recommend the best type of lesson for you. Again, all lessons are reserved online this season.
Just the basics!
If all you require is a lift ticket, we recommend purchasing your lift ticket online through our website. It’s quick and easy! You will receive a printout with a barcode that you will present at our ticket counter to redeem for your lift ticket on the day of your visit. On arrival, you will find the ticket counter on your left as you enter the main area of the upper level.
If you are not familiar with attaching your lift ticket to your jacket, our staff will provide instructions–your ticket must be both comfortable for you to wear and visible at all times.
If you require Rental Equipment, it is highly recommended that you purchase it online and in advance to reserve your gear. The rental shop is located on the lower level of the Chalet – take the stairs from the far left corner of the upper level and follow them all the way down.
You’ve got all of your gear… you are all bundled up and ready to go have fun!
